Ann Davis was nominated and received a Fannie Lou Hamer award for her dedication and outstanding service to the community.

Fannie Lou Hamer Awards celebrate 20 years

Robin Hamilton filmed a documentary on civil rights activist Fannie Lou Hamer that has been shown at film festivals across the United States. This will air at the 20th annual Fannie Lou Hamer Awards Reception at St. John’s College on Oct. 4.
